The British queen of soul, Beverley Knight, is back doing what she does best, after undergoing a serious operation this summer. The soul sensation will be going on her UK I ♥Soulsville Tour in October, 2017, performing hits from her latest album and favourites from her music career. The 44-year-old singer from Birmingham released her Soulsville album last year, which celebrates the music of Memphis. Beverley will be performing hits on the tour such as Middle of Love, and version of Ann Peebles classic I Can’t Stand The Rain, and several of her hits that have been favourites with her fans over the past two decades. The tour was postponed earlier this year when the triple Mobo winner and multiple Brit nominee had to have an operation for Uterine Fibroids. After a summer recovering, Beverley was back in the studio where she teamed up with West End stars Amber Riley and Cassidy Janson to form the group, Leading Ladies. The group has recorded the Songs From The Stage album which includes West End classics including Cats’, ‘Rent’, ‘Memphis’ and ‘The Bodyguard’. “Last year was so full of professional highlights – releasing my 8th studio album Soulsville and performing again in the West End to name but two. My first love is appearing on stage as myself and I can’t wait to give it my all again on the I ♥Soulsville Tour,” says Beverley Knight. The I ♥Soulsville Tour will run in October and will call at theatres and venues across the UK, including the New Victoria Theatre in Woking, London Palladium, Birmingham Symphony Hall and Glagow 02 ABC.
