Mad Dog Mcrea to Return to Princess Pavilion

elinaphotography@yahoo.comReturning to Falmouth after a fabulous high energy gig at the same venue last year, Mad Dog Mcrea promise more of the same when they light up the Princess Pavilion stage on Friday 14th March.

The award-winning band from Plymouth has played at Glastonbury and they have had their songs played on Mike Harding BBC Radio 2 show on several occasions.

Made up of Michael Mathieson (guitar/vocals), Dan Crimp (whistles and flutes), Graham Anderson (banjo/mandolin), Nicky Powell (fiddle), Jimi Galvin (bass) and
Pete Chart (drums), the band has a string of gigs lined up across the South West and the rest of the UK over the next few months.

From self-penned songs of adventure, drinking, love and life to traditional songs of gypsies, fairies, legless pirates and black flies, Mad Dog never fail to capture their audience with their unique and infectious blend of gypsy jazz, folk rock, bluegrass and Celtic music.
